Pandora FMS
Pandora FMS (for ''Pandora Flexible Monitoring System'') is software for monitoring computer networks. Pandora FMS allows the visual monitoring of the status and performance of several parameters from different operating systems, servers, applications and hardware systems such as firewalls, proxies, databases, web servers or routers. Pandora FMS can be deployed in almost any operating system. It features remote monitoring ( WMI, SNMP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP...) and it can also use agents. An agent is available for each platform. In multitasking computer operating systems, a daemon ( or ) is a computer program that runs as a background process, rather than being under the direct control of an interactive user. Traditionally, the process names of a daemon end with the letter ''d'', for clarification that the process is in fact a daemon, and for differentiation between a daemon and a normal computer program. Solaris is a proprietary Unix operating system originally developed by Sun Microsystems. After the Sun acquisition by Oracle in 2010, it was renamed Oracle Solaris.
