2008 Men's Pan American Junior Championship
The 2008 Men's Pan American Junior Championship was the 9th edition of the Pan American Junior Championship for men. It was held from 17 to 26 October 2008 in Port of Spain. Cuba. The tournament served as a qualifier for the 2009 Junior World Cup, held in Singapore and Johor Bahru, Malaysia in June 2009. Argentina won the tournament for the 9th time, defeating Chile 3–0 in the final. The United States won the bronze medal by defeating Canada 7–6 in penalties following a 2–2 draw. The Women's Pan American Junior Championship is a women's international under-21 field hockey tournament organized by the Pan American Hockey Federation. The tournament has been held since 1988 and serves as a qualification tournament for the Junior World Cup. The tournament has been won by three different teams: Argentina has the most titles with seven, the United States and Canada both have won one title. Men's Pan American Cup (field Hockey)
The Men's Pan American Cup is a men's international field hockey competition organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. The winning team becomes the champion of the Americas and qualifies for the FIH Hockey World Cup. Argentina has won the tournament four times. Canada and Cuba have both won the tournament once. The hosts together with six highest-ranked teams from the previous edition are qualified directly for the tournament, they are joined by the top team from the Men's Pan American Challenge or the top two teams if the host is already qualified. 2021 Men's Junior Pan American Championship
The 2021 Men's Junior Pan American Championship was the 12th edition of the Men's Pan American Junior Championship, the men's international under-21 field hockey championship of the Americas organized by the Pan American Hockey Federation. The tournament was held alongside the women's tournament at the Prince of Wales Country Club in Santiago, Chile and was originally scheduled to take place from 30 November to 13 December 2020. On 29 May 2020 the Pan American Hockey Federation announced that the tournament was rescheduled and would take place from 12 to 25 April 2021. Later on 15 January, it was announced that the competition would take place from 21 to 28 August 2021. Argentina were the defending champions, winning the 2016 edition.
