Martín Armando Reynoso Gutiérrez (born May 1, 1966) is a Mexican former professional baseball right-handedness, right-handed pitcher. Career During a 12-year baseball career, Reynoso compiled 68 Win (baseball), wins, 554 strikeouts, and a 4.74 earned run average. He pitched from 1991–2002 for four teams, including the inaugural Colorado Rockies team that began play in . That ‘93 season turned out to be Reynoso’s best in the big leagues. Lagos de Moreno () is a city and municipality in the State of Jalisco, Mexico. Lagos is located in the region of Los Altos de Jalisco, within the macroregion of the Bajío, one of the most highly developed areas in Latin America. Lagos de Moreno is occasionally known as the "Athens of Jalisco", owing to the numerous writers and poets who were born there. Baseball at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara was held between October 19 and 25, 2011. All games were played at the Pan American Baseball Stadium in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico. The draw for the competition took place in July 2011, in which the eight teams were drawn into two groups of four. Baseball was competed by men only, while women competed in the similar sport of softball. Each team could enter a team of 24 athletes for a maximum of 192 competitors for this tournament. The tournament was played using designated hitter rules. Cuba entered the tournament having won 10 consecutive baseball gold medals at the Pan American Games, dating back to 1971. Canada won the tournament, defeating the United States in the gold medal game. Cuba finished in third place, winning the bronze medal. 2011 Pan American Games
The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Some events were held in the nearby cities of Ciudad Guzmán, Puerto Vallarta, Lagos de Moreno and Tapalpa. It was the largest multi-sport event of 2011, with approximately 6,000 athletes from 42 nations participating in 36 sports. The Estadio Panamericano de Béisbol, (formerly Estadio Telmex de Atletismo), is a baseball and athletics stadium located in Zapopan, near Guadalajara, Mexico. It was built for the 2011 Pan American Games at substantial cost. It opened in 2011 and received official certification from the International Association of Athletics Federations just days before the start of the Pan American Games.
