Pamela Salem
Pamela Fortunee Salem (born 22 January 1944) is a British film and television actress of Anglo-Indian descent. She was born in Bombay, India, and educated at Heidelberg University in Germany and later at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. Career Television Salem is known for her co-starring role in the early 1980s ITV (TV network), ITV children's fantasy series ''Into the Labyrinth (TV series), Into the Labyrinth'' as the evil witch Belor, and her late 1980s guest role in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' as shady mafia affiliate Joanne Francis. She has also been seen in two adventures of ''Doctor Who'': as Toos in ''The Robots of Death'' (1977) and as Professor Rachel Jensen in ''Remembrance of the Daleks'' (1988), a role she reprised for Big Finish Productions' officially licensed radio drama, audio drama spin-off series ''Counter Measures''. Remembrance Of The Daleks
''Remembrance of the Daleks'' is the first serial of the 25th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. The serial was first broadcast in four weekly episodes from 5 to 26 October 1988. It was written by Ben Aaronovitch and directed by Andrew Morgan. In the serial, alien time traveller the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and his companion Ace (Sophie Aldred) travel back to 1963 to retrieve the Hand of Omega, a powerful device created by the Doctor's Time Lord race, and keep it from the Daleks. The serial contains many references to the history of the show, featuring settings from the first ''Doctor Who'' episode, ''An Unearthly Child'', such as Coal Hill School and the junkyard at 76 Totter's Lane. In reader polls conducted by ''Doctor Who Magazine'' from 1998 onwards, ''Remembrance of the Daleks'' has consistently been voted as one of the greatest ''Doctor Who'' stories of all time. Howards' Way
''Howards' Way'' is a television drama series produced by BBC Birmingham and transmitted on BBC1 between 1 September 1985 and 25 November 1990. The series deals with the personal and professional lives of the wealthy yachting and business communities in the fictional town of Tarrant on the south coast of England, and was filmed on the River Hamble and the Solent. Most of the location filming for the series was carried out in Bursledon, Hamble, Swanwick, Warsash, Hill Head, Lee-on-the-Solent, Lymington, Hythe, Southampton and Fareham—all in Hampshire. The Jolly Sailor pub in Bursledon featured in several episodes. ''The Professionals'' is a British crime-action television drama series produced by Avengers Mark1 Productions for London Weekend Television (LWT) that aired on the ITV network from 1977 to 1983. In all, 57 episodes were produced, filmed between 1977 and 1981. It starred Martin Shaw, Lewis Collins and Gordon Jackson as agents of the fictional "CI5" (Criminal Intelligence 5, alluding to the real-life MI5 and CID). ''The Professionals'' was created by Brian Clemens, who had been one of the driving forces behind '' The Avengers''. The show was originally to have been called ''The A-Squad''.
