Pamela Ribon
Pamela Ribon (born April 4, 1975) is an Academy Award-nominated American screenwriter, author, television writer, blogger and actress. She created and wrote the short film '' My Year of Dicks'' (2022), which was nominated for the 95th Academy Awards under the category Best Animated Short Film. In November 2014, she found a Barbie book from 2010 titled ''I Can be a Computer Engineer''. She decried elements of the book where Barbie appeared to be reliant on male colleagues. Mattel has since ceased publishing the book. Also known as ''Pamie'' and ''Wonder Killer'', she runs the website pamie.com. She was one of the original recappers for Television Without Pity. Her commencement address for the 2019 College of Fine Arts graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin was praised by Texas Monthly. Snow White (Disney Character)
Snow White is a fictional character and a main character from Walt Disney Productions' first animated feature film ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'' (1937). She was originally voiced by Adriana Caselotti. The character of Snow White was derived from a fairy tale known from many countries in Europe with the best-known version being the 1812 tale collected by the Brothers Grimm. Snow White is the first Disney Princess and the first fictional female character with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Given the title the "Fairest One of All", she has continued to inspire similar traits in future Disney heroines, such as singing and communicating with animals. Oni Press is an American independent comic book and graphic novel publisher based in Portland, Oregon. In 2019, it became an imprint label following the company's merger with Lion Forge Comics. The merged company, Oni–Lion Forge Publishing Group (OLFPG), is owned by Polarity. Oni Press has remained the "predominant name used for publishing comics" by OLFPG. Boom! Studios (styled BOOM! Studios) is an American comic book and graphic novel publisher, headquartered in Los Angeles, California, United States. History Origins In the early 2000s, Ross Richie and Andrew Cosby had been working in Hollywood, helping to option comic book projects as producers and working to develop them into films with the studios, but were getting increasingly frustrated with the process. Veronica Fish is an American comic book artist and painter best known for her work with Marvel Comics and Archie Comics. Early life Veronica Fish attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City for two years and received a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. Her style has been described as "ultra-expressive and playful." Career Fish teaches at the Worcester Art Museum and designed the Museum's mascot "Helmutt the Dog."
