Pamela Peck
Pamela Peck Wan-kam (, born on September 1, 1944) was a Hong Kong radio agony aunt and celebrity and is a former member of Wan Chai District Council. Since 1989 she has been the partner of 'celebrity' lawyer and legislator Paul Tse. Early life Peck came to Hong Kong from China when she was three months old. Her dad died and her mother could not support her, so she went to live with her mother's sister, accompanied by her wet nurse. She says that her uncle was 'dissolute' and would often bring girlfriends home. But her aunt befriended them so that they left. Peck was seen by social welfare officers. At around age 15, she ran away with a boyfriend, missing her HKCEE exams. Career She became a flight attendant and hosted radio programmes when not flying. She went back to school, and later studied TV broadcasting at the graduate school of San Francisco State University. Empress Zhangsun (長孫皇后, personal name unknown, presumably Wugou (無垢) (15 March 601 – 28 July 636), formally Empress Wendeshunsheng (文德順聖皇后, literally "the civil, virtuous, serene, and holy empress") or, in short, Empress Wende (文德皇后), was a Chinese essayist and an empress of the Chinese Tang dynasty. She was the wife of Emperor Taizong and the mother of Emperor Gaozong. She was well educated, and her ancestors were of Xianbei ethnicity. Their original surname was Tuoba, later changed to Zhangsun. During her tenure as empress, she served as a loyal assistant and honest advice to her husband, Emperor Taizong. Background The future Empress Zhangsun was born on 15 March 601. Michael Mak (politician)
Michael Mak Kwok-fung () (born 23 August 1955 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong politician. He is an elected representative of the Wan Chai District. He was the founding deputy chairman of the League of Social Democrats, and was elected to the Advisory Council of the party in 2010. He is a registered mental nurse, was elected into the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 2000 to 2004 through the health services functional constituency. He worked with Castle Peak Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, and retired from the post of Department Operations Manager at Kwai Chung Hospital in September 2015.
