Pamela Hornberger
Pamela L. Hornberger (born May 1968) is an American politician. Hornberger is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives. Education In 1991, Hornberger earned a BS degree in Management from Michigan State University. In 1993, Hornberger earned a Certified Teacher from Wayne State University. In 1996, Hornberger earned a master's degree in Education Administration from Saginaw Valley State University. Career Hornberger was an art teacher in the East China School District in East China Township, Michigan. In 1994, Hornberger became a teacher at Imlay City Community Schools. Hornberger also served as a member of the L'Anse Creuse school board for six years, where she was treasurer. She also served as a member of the local Selective Service System board. The Michigan House of Representatives is the lower house of the Michigan Legislature. There are 110 members, each of whom is elected from constituencies having approximately 77,000 to 91,000 residents, based on population figures from the 2010 U.S. Census. Its composition, powers and duties are established in Article IV of the Michigan Constitution. Members are elected in even-numbered years and take office at 12 p.m. (EST) on January 1 following the November general election. Concurrently with the Michigan Senate, the House first convenes on the second Wednesday in January, according to the state constitution. Each member is limited to serving three terms of two years. The election coincided with elections for other offices, including U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Governor and Senate. The primary election was held on August 7, 2018. Republicans retained control of the House, despite losing the popular vote, after a net loss of five seats, winning 58 seats compared to 52 seats for the Democrats. Chesterfield Township, Michigan
Chesterfield Charter Township is a charter township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 37,405. The 2010 Census places the population at 43,381. The township was organized in 1842, formed from a portion of Macomb Township. In 1989 it gained charter status. The township is part of Metro Detroit. History Chesterfield Township was originally established as a general law township in 1842. It became a charter township in 1989. The original European-American settlement in the area was a hamlet called Chesterfield, first settled in 1830.
