Pals Of The Silver Sage
''Pals of the Silver Sage'' is a 1940 American Western (genre), Western film directed by Albert Herman and written by Robert Emmett Tansey. The film stars Tex Ritter, Sugar Dawn, Slim Andrews, Clarene Curtis, Glenn Strange and Carleton Young. The film was released on April 22, 1940, by Monogram Pictures. Plot Tex gets a job on Sugar Gray's ranch. He soon discovers how the brand on her cattle have been changed to that of Vic Insley's, then he gets the brands switched back, while resisting attempts on his life. Now he must find a way to get the cattle to market. Albert Herman
Albert Herman (1887–1958) was an American actor, screenwriter and film director. Herman was a prolific director, working mainly on low-budget movies for companies such as Producers Releasing Corporation. He is sometimes credited as Al Herman. Chester Gan
Chester Gan (1908-1959) was an American character actor of Chinese descent who worked in Hollywood from the 1930s through the 1950s. Biography Chester Gan was born in Grass Valley, California, to Wing Hong Gan and Wong Shee. He went to China for university, where he developed an interest in acting. Upon his return to the United States, he headed to Los Angeles, where he worked as an engineer. Warner Richmond (born Werner Paul Otto Raetzmann; January 11, 1886 – June 19, 1948) was an American stage and film actor. He began his career as a stock theatre actor and appeared in films in both the silent film and sound eras. His career spanned four decades.
