Palm Tran is the public transit bus system run by the Palm Beach County Government, serving Palm Beach County, Florida. In , the system had a ridership of , or about per weekday as of . Palm Tran also serves a portion of Broward County, Florida where it overlaps with Broward County Transit. Mangonia Park Station
Mangonia Park is a Tri-Rail commuter rail station in Mangonia Park, Florida. This is the system's northernmost station. The station is located on 45th Street ( CR 702), just west of Australian Avenue (CR 704A). There are 273 parking spaces at the station. History The Mangonia Park station was opened on October 28, 1996, along a former Seaboard Air Line Railroad line, and was the first station to serve the community. Every January, Palm Beach County Public School safety patrol boards charter an Amtrak train at the station for their annual trip to Washington, D.C. The train operates with a ''Silver Meteor'' consist plus several Horizon coaches. On the days this train operates, the northbound or southbound ''Silver Meteors'' are actually canceled since the train uses the equipment that would normally be used for those runs. Mangonia Park, Florida
Mangonia Park is a town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. It is a part of Uptown West Palm, which also includes Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach. The population was 1,888 at the 2010 census. As of 2018, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 2,017. History The Town of Mangonia Park was established in 1947. The original petition to the State of Florida requested the name Town of Magnolia Park. The petition for incorporation was granted but under the name Town of Mangonia Park. An explanation accompanied the charter stating the name, Town of Magnolia Park, was already taken and the State of Florida took the liberty of naming the town with a similar name. Military Trail is a long six-lane north–south arterial road in Broward and Palm Beach counties in South Florida. A portion of the road is designated State Road 809 (SR 809), but most of the road within Palm Beach County is locally maintained and signed as County Road 809 (CR 809), while the Broward County section exists without either designation.
