Palazzo Ficquelmont-Clary
The Palazzo Clary (''Clary Palace'') is a Renaissance architecture, Late Renaissance Venetian palace facing the Giudecca, Giudecca Canal alongside the fondamenta Zattere by the ponte longo in Venice's Dorsoduro. It was originally built in the 17th century for a Venetian noble family. Palazzo Clary Venezia Zattere
A palace is a grand residence, especially a royal residence, or the home of a head of state or some other high-ranking dignitary, such as a bishop or archbishop. The word is derived from the Latin name palātium, for Palatine Hill in Rome which housed the Roman Empire, Imperial residences.
