Palash Sarkar (born 28 September 1969) is an Indian mathematician and a professor at the Applied Statistics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute. His main research interest is Cryptology. Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is a higher education and research institute which is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the 1959 act of the Indian parliament.
