Rodrigo Sebastián Palacio Alcalde (; born 5 February 1982) is a Argentine basketball player and former professional footballer who played as a forward. Luis Alfredo Palacio González (born 22 January 1939) is an Ecuadorian cardiologist and former politician who served as President of Ecuador from 20 April 2005 to 15 January 2007. Agustina Palacio de Libarona (also known as La Heroína del Bracho; February 1, 1825December 13, 1880) was a 19th-century Argentine writer, storyteller, and heroine. A member of an elite family from Santiago, her husband was Capt. José María Libarona. She became known in her province for facing the federal leader and governor of Santiago del Estero, Juan Felipe Ibarra, who had imprisoned Capt. Libarona.
