Palace Of Water Sports
The Palace of Water Sports (; tt-Cyrl, Су спорт төрләре сара) is an indoor aquatics centre in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia which was built for the 2013 Summer Universiade. Located on the banks of the Kazanka River, the competitions in synchronized swimming, diving, swimming and water polo took place here. It later hosted the diving events for the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. As of 2018, the facility was utilized by approximately 3,000 children per day. The temporary open arena for water polo with a spectator capacity of 3,500 was built nearby, using its service and support systems. The FINA Swimming World Cup is an international series of short course () swimming meets organized by FINA, the International Federation for swimming. Launched in 1988, the FINA Swimming World Cup gathers world-class swimmers in a series of two-day meets organised between August and November each year. Across nine locations, the circuit is structured in clusters (Middle East, Europe and Asia) and distributes a total of prize money reaching US$2.5 million. Currently, the overall first, second, and third-place winners are awarded prize money. The men's and women's series winners take home $150,000 each, runners-up $100,000, and third-place finishers $50,000, following a prize-money increase announced by FINA in September 2017. The FINA Diving World Series is a diving competition series held annually since 2007. This series is held around the world (the current series includes 4 events) where the divers collect points depending on their results to determine the World Series champions. This series is reserved for only the best divers in the World and national wild cards. Most of the divers are medallists from previous Olympics, World Championships and World Cups. List of FINA Diving World Series Overall ranking Overall ranking is based on the combined results from the legs of the series. Divers earned points based on placement at each competition. For individual events, points were counted separately for each person. For synchronized events, points were combined for each country – some countries had different pairs compete at the different legs of the series.
