Pal Waaktaar
Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (born Pål Gamst, 6 September 1961) is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Waaktaar-Savoy is best known for his work as the main songwriter and guitarist in the Norwegian pop band A-ha, which has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. He has written or co-written most of the band's biggest hits, including " The Sun Always Shines on T.V.", "Hunting High and Low", "Take On Me", the 1987 James Bond theme "The Living Daylights" and the ballad "Summer Moved On". In addition, Waaktaar-Savoy is also a painter. Waaktaar-Savoy was named Knights First Class of the Order of St. Olav by King Harald for his services to Norwegian music and his international success. Tonsenhagen
Tonsenhagen is a neighborhood in the borough of Bjerke in northeast Oslo, Norway. Built in the 1950s, it was one of the early new suburbs within Oslo. The neighborhood is situated on a hillside overlooking Oslo and the Grorud Valley, surrounded by forest and near the ski resort of Grefsenkollen. There is a local school, for which the first headmaster was Rolf Ridar, and the Norwegian children's play and book writer Ingebrigt Davik was once a teacher there. Street names The main road through the area is named after the first female member of parliament, Anna Rogstad, who was also a teacher and an early Norwegian suffragette. ''Cast in Steel'' is the tenth studio album by Norwegian band A-ha. The album was released on 4 September 2015 by We Love Music and Polydor. It is their first studio album since ''Foot of the Mountain'' (2009), following their second reunion in early 2015. ''Cast in Steel'' is the first a-ha album to use the original band logo since ''Memorial Beach'' from 1993, and the first album to be produced by Alan Tarney since ''Stay on These Roads'' (1988). ''Foot of the Mountain'' is the ninth studio album by the Norwegian pop rock band A-ha. It was released on 19 June 2009 and reached No. 1 on the Media Control Charts, German Albums Chart and No. 2 on the VG-lista, Norwegian Albums Chart. In its first week in the UK, the album debuted at No. 5, the group's highest chart placing in that country since ''Stay on These Roads'' in 1988. The overall sound of the record marks a return to the synth-pop style the band became famous for in the mid-1980s. ''Analogue'' is the eighth studio album by the Norwegian band A-ha, released in 2005. It is a-ha's first album on Polydor Records (Universal), having previously been signed to Warner Music. Four singles were also released from this record. The album's second single, " Analogue (All I Want)" became the group's first top 10 hit on the UK Singles Chart since " Stay on These Roads" (1988). The album reached No. 24 in the UK and got silver certification there. Background and recording The song "Analogue (All I Want)" was originally a song called "Minor Key Sonata (Analogue)", which (like the rest of the album) was produced by Martin Terefe and mixed by Flood. Max Martin was then brought in to turn "Minor Key Sonata (Analogue)" into a more radio-friendly song, with a less surreal lyric and catchier chorus. The Nobel Peace Prize Concert (Norwegian and Swedish: '')'' has been held annually since 1994 on 11 December, to honour the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. The award ceremony on 10 December takes place in Oslo City Hall, while the concert has been held at Oslo Spektrum, with the attendance of the laureate and other prominent guests. The Concert is broadcast to a global audience and reaches up to 350 million households in 100 countries. In 2015 a new distributor was announced and after 20 years at Oslo Spektrum, a change of concert venue was announced. The much larger Telenor Arena. The LP (from "long playing" or "long play") is an analog sound storage medium, a phonograph record format characterized by: a speed of rpm; a 12- or 10-inch (30- or 25-cm) diameter; use of the "microgroove" groove specification; and a vinyl (a copolymer of vinyl chloride acetate) composition disk.
