Pakistani Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2013
The Pakistan national cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 23 August to 14 September 2013. The tour consisted of two Twenty20 International matches, three One Day International matches, and two Test matches. The limited overs matches was played at the Harare Sports Club while the Test matches were split between Harare and the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The series was originally supposed to take place the previous December but was postponed as it clashed with Pakistan's tour of India after the two countries decided to resume bilateral cricketing relations. The second Test match was originally scheduled to take place at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo but was moved to Harare as a cost saving measure. Zimbabwe's victory in the second Test was their first against another Test nation other than Bangladesh since their victory over India in 2001. Brendan Taylor
Brendan Ross Murray Taylor (born 6 February 1986) is a Zimbabwean former international cricketer and a former Zimbabwean captain, who played all formats of the game. Taylor is a right-handed batsman but is also an off spinner. In 2015, former Zimbabwe captain Alistair Campbell described Taylor as "our standout player for the last seven or eight years". He is known for his unorthodox shots especially his ability to play upper cuts over the third man and ramp shots with elegance and are often considered as his trademark signature shots. Bulawayo
Bulawayo (, ; Ndebele: ''Bulawayo'') is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, and the largest city in the country's Matabeleland region. The city's population is disputed; the 2022 census listed it at 665,940, while the Bulawayo City Council claimed it to be about 1.2 million. Malcolm Noel Waller (born 28 September 1984) is a Zimbabwean professional cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. He is a middle-order batsman and off-spinner. In December 2014, he was suspended from bowling by the International Cricket Council (ICC) due to his deliveries exceeding the permitted tolerance. In August 2015 his action was found to be legal and the next month he was selected in Zimbabwe's squad for their series against Pakistan. Brian Vitori
Brian Vitalis Vitori (born 22 February 1990) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He has played Test and ODI matches for Zimbabwe. Domestic career Vitori made his List A debut for Masvingo during the 2005–06 Faithwear Clothing Inter-Provincial Competition, playing in all three of Masvingo's games, taking three wickets at an average of 12.00. He switched to Southerns for the 2007–08 Logan Cup after the first reorganisation of cricket in Zimbabwe. Prosper Utseya
Prosper Utseya (born 26 March 1985 in Harare, Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. He was the former captain of Zimbabwe from 2006 to 2010. He bowls right-arm off break and is a useful right-hand batsman. Utseya has not played any form of cricket since 2015. Sikandar Raza
Sikandar Raza Butt (} ; born 24 April 1986) is a Pakistani-born Zimbabwean international cricketer, who plays all formats primarily as a batter. Born in Sialkot, Raza emigrated to Zimbabwe in 2002 along with his family. He soon became one of the best batsman in the domestic competition and caught the eye of the Zimbabwe selectors. The only problem was citizenship issues, which was granted in 2011. Early life Raza was born in Sialkot to a Punjabi speaking Kashmiri family. Vusi Sibanda
Vusimuzi "Vusi" Sibanda (born 10 October 1983) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He has played international cricket for the Zimbabwe cricket team in all three formats of the game. He also played for Midlands in the Logan Cup. Tinashe Panyangara
Tinashe Panyangara (born 21 October 1985 in Marondera) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler. Panyangara first came to prominence during the under-19s World Cup in Bangladesh in 2003-04 in which he bowled 6 for 31 in a surprising victory for the Zimbabweans. Panyangara was rated as one of the fastest Zimbabwean bowlers in their history. Richmond Mutumbami (born 11 June 1989) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. A wicket-keeper batsman, Mutumbami made his first-class debut as a 17-year-old against Southerns in April 2007. Six years later, in April 2013, he made his international debut in a Test match against Bangladesh. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Pakistan in May 2015. Tinotenda Mbiri Kanayi Mawoyo (born 8 January 1986) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He currently plays for the Mountaineers in the Zimbabwean Domestic Competition. He also serves as an occasional cricket commentator in the domestic cricket matches which are held in Zimbabwe and in other cricket series including the Sri Lankan cricket team's tour to Bangladesh in 2017-18 after being dropped out from the national team. Elton Chigumbura
Elton Chigumbura (born 14 March 1986) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer, who played for Zimbabwe national cricket team between 2004 and 2020. He was educated at Churchill School (Harare) and made his debut at the age of 18, amidst the rebel crisis and has played 14 Test matches. Chigumbura is the most capped player in the current ODI squad with more than 200 caps. In May 2015 Chigumbura made his maiden ODI century, against Pakistan in Lahore, in his 174th ODI match.
