Pakistani Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2015
The Pakistan cricket team toured Sri Lanka from 11 June to 1 August 2015. The tour consisted of a three-day tour match against a SLCB President's XI, three Test matches, five One Day International and two Twenty20 International matches. The third Test was originally scheduled to be played at the R Premadasa Stadium, but was changed to the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in early May. Pakistan outplayed the hosts in all forms of the game by winning the Test series 2–1, the ODI series 3–2 and the T20I series 2–0. Squads Pakistan bowler Wahab Riaz injured his hand during the first day of the second Test and was ruled out of the rest of the series. Riaz was originally named in the T20I squad, but was replaced by Zia-ul-Haq as his injury did not fully heal. Angelo Mathews
Angelo Davis Mathews, (Tamil: அஞ்செலோ மத்தியூஸ்; born 2 June 1987) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain in all formats. Even though he represented Sri Lanka in all three formats, Mathews currently plays Test cricket for Sri Lanka. He was also a key member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. The Pakistan national cricket team or Pak cricket team, often referred to as the Shaheens (), Green Shirts, Men in Green and Cornered Tigers is administered by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The team is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council, and participates in Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International cricket matches. Jehan Mubarak ( ta, ஜெகன் முபாரக்; born 10 January 1981) is an American-born former professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who played all formats of the game. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. Kasun Disi Kithuruwan Vithanage ( si, කිතුරුවන් විතානගේ) (born February 1991), or commonly Kithuruwan Vithanage, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for all forms of the game in international level. Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal ( si, ලොකුගේ දිනේෂ් චන්දිමාල්; born 18 November 1989) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who captained the Sri Lanka national cricket team. A handy and agile right-handed batter who sometimes plays as the wicket-keeper middle order batter, Chandimal was the first captain to lead Sri Lanka in their first day-night Test match. Jayan Kaushal Silva (born 27 May 1986), or Kaushal Silva, is a professional Sri Lanka test cricketer. He plays for the Sinhalese Sports Club and the Sri Lankan Test team. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, ( si, පල්ලෙකැලේ ජාත්යන්තර ක්රිකට් ක්රීඩාංගනය, ta, பல்லேகல சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட் மைதானம்) is a cricket stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams.
