Pakistan Premier League
The Pakistan Premier League (PPL; ur, پاکستان پریمیئر لیگ) is a Pakistani professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Pakistan football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Football Federation League. Since inception of the Pakistan Premier League in 2004, four clubs have won the title: Khan Research Laboratories (5) WAPDA (4), Pakistan Army (2) and K-Electric (1). 2014–15 Pakistan Premier League
The 2014–15 Pakistan Premier League is the 60th season of Pakistan domestic football and the 11th season of the Pakistan Premier League. The league began on 20 September 2014. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions, having won the league championship for the last three seasons. The season also sees the league reduce to 12 teams from 16 after six sides were relegated in the previous season with two promoted. Teams Pakistan Navy, HBL, Baloch Nushki, Pak Afghan Clearing, ZTBL and Lyallpur were relegated at the end of the 2013–14 campaign. They were replaced by Baloch Quetta and Pakistan Railways. 2013–14 Pakistan Premier League
The 2013–14 Pakistan Premier League was the 10th season of the Pakistan Premier League and the 59th season of Pakistan domestic football. The league began on 1 September 2013 and ended on 8 February 2014. Khan Research Laboratories ended up winning the championship for the third consecutive season and fourth title overall. Zarai Taraqiati, playing their first season after promotion, withdrew from the league after playing 17 games Teams PMC Club Athletico Faisalabad and Wohaib were relegated at the end of the 2012–13 campaign. 2012–13 Pakistan Premier League
The 2012–13 Pakistan Premier League was the 9th season of the Pakistan Premier League, the Pakistani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2004. The season began on 5 September 2012 and ended on 15 January 2013. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions, having won their second Premier League title the previous season. This was their second top division league title. On 13 January 2013, Khan Research Laboratories won their third Premier League title and Pakistani titles after drawing 0–0 with Pakistan Airlines at KPT Stadium. Kaleemullah Khan became the first player to score 30+ goals in a Pakistan Premier League season, after scoring 35 goals. 2011–12 Pakistan Premier League
The 2011 season is the 57th season of Pakistan domestic football and the 8th season of the Pakistan Premier League, and started on 5 July 2011 under the auspices of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). The season ending on 29 December with mid season break between 30 July and 14 September. KRL F.C. under head coach Tariq Lufti were crowned champions after losing only one game the whole season. They also took the winners prize of Rs 700,000. Afghan Club were the surprise of the season after finished second, the first time since the PPL started that a non-departmental club finished in the top three and took Rs 500,00. Pakistan Army F.C. finished third and were given Rs 400,00. PIA F.C. took the Fair-Play trophy and Rs 100,000. The 2010–11 Pakistan Premier League for professional association football, was the 7th season of the Pakistan Premier League, since its establishment in 2004, and the 56th season of Pakistan domestic league. The season began on 16 September 2010. Khan Research Laboratories were the defending champions. WAPDA won the league, it was their 4th Premier League and 8th Pakistani league title. WAPDA F.C. triumphed and lifted the winner's trophy in addition to Rs600,000 while the last edition's winners KRL had to be content with being runners up and Rs400,000. 2009–10 Pakistan Premier League
The 2009–10 season Pakistan Premier League was the 6th season of Pakistan Premier League and 55th season of Pakistan football league. A total of 14 teams competed in the league, with Khan Research Laboratories unseating the two-time defending champions WAPDA. The league started on 25 July and ended on 13 December. The race for the title went to the final day of the season with Khan Research Laboratoires and Pakistan Army tied on 57 points. Khan Research Laboratories won their final game defeating Pakistan Airlines 1–0, which meant Pakistan Army has to defeat Karachi Port Trust by at least the 11 goals to win the league.
