Paint Your Target (Single)
"Paint Your Target" is a song by English post-hardcore band Fightstar. It was released on 13 June 2005 as the lead single from their debut studio album, ''Grand Unification'' (2006). It charted at number nine in the United Kingdom. To 'paint your target' is a military expression which refers to identifying and marking a target so that it can be attacked by other forces. There are also two recorded versions of "Paint Your Target". One, recorded by Chris Sheldon, was released as a single and appeared on both of the music videos. The other, recorded by Colin Richardson, appears on ''Grand Unification''. Fightstar are a British rock band from London that formed in 2003. The band is composed of lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Charlie Simpson, guitarist and co-vocalist Alex Westaway, bassist Dan Haigh and drummer Omar Abidi. Dan Haigh (born 5 December 1980) is an English musician, film director, video game designer, writer and visual effects artist. He is best known as co-founder of synthwave band Gunship and as the bass player in the English rock band Fightstar. Early life Dan Haigh was born in Grimsby and later attended Rugby School. Music GUNSHIP Gunship (stylized as GUNSHIP) is a British Synthwave band formed in 2014 by Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway and later joined by drummer Alex Gingell. Find The Colour
"Find the Colour" is a song by Welsh rock band Feeder, released as the fourth single from their fourth studio album, ''Comfort in Sound'', on 22 September 2003. The single peaked at number 24 on the UK Singles Chart. Music video The music video sees the band performing in a dark room, with the camera panning around them while they are performing. The action is seen in slow motion, and are actually performing "Godzilla" from their ''Comfort in Sound'' album, with the video slown down with "Find the Colour" edited into the video so it looks like they are performing a different song. This could be seen as the band not being too keen on having the song as a single release. It was noted by frontman Grant Nicholas in an interview on now-defunct TV channel The Amp that as the video is seen in slow motion from start to end, it has done something not done by many or any music videos in the past. Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. Post-production is part of the process of filmmaking, video production, audio production, and photography. Tag (also called touch and go AG'', tig, it, tiggy, tips, tick, tip) is a playground game involving two or more players chasing other players in an attempt to "tag" and mark them out of play, usually by touching with a hand. ''Grand Unification'' is the debut studio album by British post-hardcore band Fightstar, released on 13 March 2006 through Island Records. Based upon the ''Neon Genesis Evangelion'' franchise, ''Grand Unification'' was produced by Colin Richardson and is considered a concept album. The artwork, drawn digitally by Daniel Conway, portrays scenes similar to that of the ruined cities in ''Evangelion''. It is also thought to believe the cover has taken influence from the song "Grand Unification Part 2" as the lyric "hold my hand until the waves come" and the cover features two persons holding hands waiting for what appears to be a flood.
