''Painless'' is the second album by English singer Nilüfer Yanya. It was released on 4 March 2022 on ATO Records. Critical reception ''Painless'' was met with widespread acclaim reviews from critics. Laura Snapes of ''Pitchfork'' opined that "''Painless'' excels at a kind of subtle disclosure, relying less on power than it does texture and immaculately sparing detail." Nilüfer Yanya (; born 11 May 1995) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. Early life Yanya is the daughter of two visual artists, her mother is of Irish and Barbadian heritage and her father is Turkish. Yanya grew up in Chelsea, London listening to Turkish music and classical music playing at home. She gravitated to guitar rock and learned how to play the instrument at the age of 12. Career Informally starting her musical career with demos uploaded to SoundCloud in 2014, Yanya turned down an offer to join a girl group produced by Louis Tomlinson of One Direction and focused on developing her own music instead. She has spoken out against this model of talent acquisition, telling ''The Guardian'': "'Let's go and pinch some young people, tell them we're going to make a really successful group but we're obviously going to make a lot more money than them.' ''Rid of Me'' is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter and musician PJ Harvey. It was released by Island Records in May 1993, approximately one year after the release of her critically acclaimed debut album '' Dry''. It marked a departure from Harvey's previous songwriting, being more raw and aggressive than its predecessor. The songs on ''Rid of Me'' were performed by Harvey's eponymous trio, consisting of Harvey on guitar and vocals, Rob Ellis on drums and background vocals, and Steve Vaughan on bass. Archy Ivan Marshall (born 24 August 1994), also known by his stage name King Krule, among other names, is an English singer, songwriter, musician, rapper and record producer. He began recording music in 2010 under the moniker Zoo Kid. The following year he adopted his present name. He has released several EPs and his debut full-length album, ''6 Feet Beneath the Moon'', was released in 2013 to positive critical reception.
