Page Fletcher
Charles Page Fletcher (born 25 February 1951) is a Canadian actor who has starred in films and on television. He is best known for his role on the 1980s hit HBO TV series '' The Hitchhiker'' as the main title character from 1984–1990 and for playing RoboCop in the TV mini series '' RoboCop: Prime Directives''. Biography The son of Ron and Peggy (née Fulton), Fletcher was born and grew up in Bass River, Nova Scotia. His first feature film was in the 1982 horror movie '' Humongous'' as Tom Rice. His other films include '' American Nightmare'' (1983), '' Martha, Ruth, & Edie'' (1988), and '' Friends, Lovers, & Lunatics'' (1989). Bass River, Nova Scotia
Bass River is an unincorporated rural community in western Colchester County, north-central Nova Scotia, in the Maritimes of Canada. It is shares the name of the river located there, that flows into Cobequid Bay. Location Bass River is located along an approximate stretch of Cobequid Bay north shoreline, from the bordering communities of Upper Economy to the west, Porta(u)pique to the east, and Castlereagh in the Cobequid Hills to the north. The community is centred at approximately 45°24' North, 63°46' West. Most of its residents live along or just off of the Trunk 2, the Glooscap Trail. Bass River's jurisdiction is thought locally to extend north from the bay approximately 5 km to include Upper Bass River and Hoeg(')s Corner, east to incorporate Little Bass River (which includes the areas Edgewood and Saint's Rest), and south to include Birch Hill and King's Rest. ''The Twilight Zone'' is an anthology television series which was constructed from September 27, 1985 to April 15, 1989. It is the first of three revivals of Rod Serling's acclaimed 1959–64 television series, and like the original it featured a variety of speculative fiction, commonly containing characters from a seemingly normal world stumbling into paranormal circumstances. Unlike the original, however, most episodes contained multiple self-contained stories instead of just one. The voice-over narrations were still present, but were not a regular feature as they were in the original series; some episodes had only an opening narration, some had only a closing narration, and some had no narration at all.
