Paco Fernández
Francisco "Paco" Fernández Gómez (born 25 October 1967) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a midfielder, and the current coach of Real Oviedo's ''Juvenil A'' squad. Playing career Born in Oviedo, Asturias, Fernández made his professional debut with local Real Oviedo on 3 March 1985, playing the last ten minutes and scoring in an 8–0 home routing against CF Lorca Deportiva in the Segunda División. He appeared with the club in La Liga in the following seasons, which included two matches in the 1991–92 UEFA Cup. In the 1994 summer Fernández joined CD Logroñés, also in the first division. After two years with CD Badajoz in the second level he competed in the lower leagues, representing Pontevedra CF, Gimnástica de Torrelavega, Caudal Deportivo and CD Lealtad; he retired at the end of the 2000–01 campaign with the last side, aged 34. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders. There are also attacking midfielders with limited defensive assignments. The size of midfield units on a team and their assigned roles depend on what formation is used; the unit of these players on the pitch is commonly referred to as the midfield. Copa Del Rey
The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. 2013–14 Copa Del Rey
The 2013–14 Copa del Rey was the 112th staging of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The competition began on 4 September 2013 and ended on 16 April 2014 with the final. The final took place at Mestalla in Valencia, and saw Real Madrid defeat Barcelona 2–1 to win their 19th title in the competition. The winners assured a place for the group stage of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League, although Madrid qualified for the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League due to their league performance. The 2013 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) were the final playoffs for promotion from 2012–13 Segunda División B to the 2013–14 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each of the four Segunda División B groups played the ''Playoffs de Ascenso'' and the four last placed teams in Segunda División were relegated to Segunda División B. 1991–92 UEFA Cup
The 1991–92 UEFA Cup was the 21st season of Europe's then-tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. It was won by Dutch club Ajax on away goals over Torino of Italy. The victory made Ajax only the second team – after Torino's city rivals Juventus – to have won all three major European trophies ( European Cup/UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League, and the Cup Winners' Cup).
