Pacific Opera
Pacific Opera is an opera company based in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2003 by Sylvie Renaud-Calmel and Christine Douglas, the first artistic director, the company has an annual Young Artist Program for emerging opera singers aged 18 to 35, which integrates coaching, rehearsals and stage craft with numerous public and private performance opportunities. Annual opera productions offer role practice to the young artists and employment for young industry professionals including designers, orchestral musicians, repetiteurs, conductors and directors. Simon Kenway was artistic direct from 2015 to 2019, followed by Peter Coleman-Wright.Our creative team"

Pacific Opera Victoria
Pacific Opera Victoria is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It performs three full productions per season at Victoria's Royal Theatre accompanied by members of the Victoria Symphony. In their 2009/2010 season, Pacific Opera Victoria expanded to four productions per season and added Saturday matinees. Founded in 1980, Pacific Opera Victoria (POV) performs a variety of repertoire ranging from standard canon to new pieces. Timothy Vernon is POV's founding artistic director. Pacific Opera Victoria is notable for constructing its own sets and costumes and retaining its own set construction facilities. Opera Pacific was an opera company located in the Orange County, California, United States city of Santa Ana. It operated for 22 seasons before closing in 2008 after several seasons of deepening financial difficulties. History The first season began in 1985 with David DiChiera as General Director (until 1996), though the company traces its roots to 1962 and the annual ''Festival of Opera Association'' in Laguna Beach, where productions were performed in late summer at the Irvine Bowl, in English. In order to promote expansion, the ''Opera League of Laguna Beach'' was established to "encourage, support and sustain interest in the Festival of Opera." Peter Coleman-Wright
Peter Coleman-Wright (born 13 October 1958) is an Australian baritone from Geelong. He began his career at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, where he sang Guglielmo in ''Così fan tutte'', winning the Touring Prize. Subsequently, he sang Sid in '' Albert Herring'' and Demetrius in ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' and Pizzaro in ''Fidelio''. Career He performed many roles for English National Opera (ENO) including Don Giovanni, Figaro, Billy Budd, Onegin, Scarpia, Michele in ''Il tabarro'', Toreador, The Forester in ''The Cunning Little Vixen'', Traveller in '' Death in Venice'', Henze's Prince von Homburg, and The Prisoner by Dallapiccola. ''The Magic Flute'' (German: , ), K. 620, is an opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to a German libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. The work is in the form of a ''Singspiel'', a popular form during the time it was written that included both singing and spoken dialogue. ''Hansel and Gretel'' (German: ') is an opera by nineteenth-century composer Engelbert Humperdinck, who described it as a ' (fairy-tale opera). The libretto was written by Humperdinck's sister, Adelheid Wette, based on the Grimm brothers' fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel". It is much admired for its folk music-inspired themes, one of the most famous being the "" ("Evening Benediction") from act 2. The idea for the opera was proposed to Humperdinck by his sister, who approached him about writing music for songs that she had written for her children for Christmas based on "Hansel and Gretel". Così Fan Tutte
(''All Women Do It, or The School for Lovers''), K. 588, is an opera buffa in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It was first performed on 26 January 1790 at the Burgtheater in Vienna, Austria. The libretto was written by Lorenzo Da Ponte who also wrote ''Le nozze di Figaro'' and ''Don Giovanni''. Although it is commonly held that was written and composed at the suggestion of the Emperor Joseph II, recent research does not support this idea. There is evidence that Mozart's contemporary Antonio Salieri tried to set the libretto but left it unfinished. In 1994, John Rice uncovered two terzetti by Salieri in the Austrian National Library. The short title, ''Così fan tutte'', literally means "So do they all", using the feminine plural (''tutte'') to indicate women. It is usually translated into English as "Women are like that". Canberra Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is the professional orchestra of the Australian Capital Territory based in Canberra, the national capital of Australia. History Officially formed on 14 March 1950 and registered as an amateur ensemble, the Canberra Orchestral Society (COS), held rehearsals in the ante-room of Albert Hall. In September 1953 Pieter Kruithof, a Dutch migrant with organ and choral background, was appointed conductor and director. At that time the orchestra had 18 members and shared quarters at the Riverside Cultural Centre.
