The Pacific Motorway is a motorway in Australia between Brisbane, Queensland, and Brunswick Heads, New South Wales, through the New South Wales–Queensland border at Tweed Heads. The motorway starts at Coronation Drive at Milton in Brisbane, The Brisbane city section of the motorway is often referred to by its former name, the Riverside Expressway. The motorway is about long, and features eight traffic lanes with a speed limit between the M6 Logan Motorway and Smith Street Motorway and generally six or four lanes at on other sections. The motorway passes through the major tourist region of the Gold Coast, the destination for most of the vehicular traffic from Brisbane. Inner City Bypass, Brisbane
M3 Inner City Bypass (ICB) is a major motorway standard bypass in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Bypassing the Brisbane central business district to the north, it connects Brisbane’s Pacific Motorway and Go Between Bridge at Hale Street to Kingsford Smith Drive, Legacy Way Tunnel, Clem Jones Tunnel, AirportLink Tunnel and Lutwyche Road following the Exhibition railway line for the majority of its length. The route is marked as the M3 from the western part of the route, to the Horace Street interchange. The motorway cost $220m to complete and incorporates a total of six lanes, four tunnels, 18 bridges and was the largest infrastructure engineering project undertaken in Queensland for decades. Riverside Expressway
The Riverside Expressway is part of the Pacific Motorway that runs through Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located on the western side of the Brisbane CBD and is made up of various bridges and overpasses. The North Bank development is proposed to alleviate the visual disruption of the expressway and recapture Brisbane for pedestrians. Smith Street Motorway, Gold Coast
Smith Street Motorway (SR10) (or the Smith Street extension) is a motorway grade extension of Smith Street. It connects Southport, the Gold Coast's CBD to the Pacific Motorway. The road is motorway standard for from the Pacific Motorway (exit 66), until the Parklands Drive intersection. It then runs as a divided road until High Street in Southport, where it becomes North Street until the Gold Coast Highway.
