The Pac-12 Conference Coach of the Year is a baseball award given to the Pac-12 Conference's most outstanding coach. From 1978-1998, an award was given to the most outstanding Coach in both the North and South divisions. After the 1999 season, the divisions were eliminated. The Pac-12 Conference is a collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference, that operates in the Western United States, participating in 24 sports at the NCAA Division I level. Its College football, football teams compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the highest level of college football in the nation. Oregon State Beavers Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers baseball team represents Oregon State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the Pac-12 Conference. They are currently coached by Mitch Canham and assistant coaches Ryan Gipson, Darwin Barney and Rich Dorman. They play home games in Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Idaho Vandals
The Idaho Vandals are the intercollegiate athletic teams representing the University of Idaho, located in Moscow. The Vandals compete at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Big Sky Conference. The football team was an independent for the 2013 season due to a major wave of departures from the Western Athletic Conference that left just two football-playing schools. In July 2014, Idaho returned its football team to the Sun Belt Conference and the other sports rejoined the Big Sky Conference. The California Golden Bears baseball team represents the University of California, Berkeley in NCAA Division I college baseball. Along with most other California athletic teams, the baseball team participates in the Pac-12 Conference. The Bears play their home games at Evans Diamond. John Savage (born February 27, 1965) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who currently serves as the head baseball coach for the UCLA Bruins baseball, UCLA Bruins. He played college baseball at Santa Clara Broncos baseball, Santa Clara for coaches Jerry McClain and John Oldham (baseball), John Oldham from 1984 to 1986 before playing in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) for three seasons (1986-1988).
