''Paasa Paravaigal'' () is a 1988 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language Drama (film and television), drama film directed by Cochin Haneefa and written by M. Karunanidhi, with music by Ilaiyaraaja. The film stars Sivakumar, Lakshmi (actress), Lakshmi, Mohan (actor), Mohan and Raadhika Sarathkumar, Raadhika. It is a remake of Haneefa's own 1986 Malayalam film ''Moonnu Masangalku Mumbu''. The film was released on 29 April 1988 and became a commercial success. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film, Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Second Best Film, and Raadhika won the Cinema Express Award for Best Actress – Tamil, Best Actress at Cinema Express Awards. Cochin Haneefa
Muhammed Haneefa (22 April 1951 – 2 February 2010), better known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa, was an Indian actor, film director, and screenwriter. He started his career in the 1970s mainly portraying villainous roles, before going on to become one of the most popular comedians of Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 300 films in Malayalam and Tamil. As a director he is best known for the films ''Aankiliyude Tharattu'' (1987) and ''Vatsalyam'' (1993). Personal life and education Haneefa was born in Cochin (present-day Kochi) to Kochi Velthedathu Tharavattil A.B. Muhammed and Hajira, as the second among their eight children. Delhi Ganesh is an Indian actor who mostly acts in supporting roles in Tamil cinema and serials. He has acted in more than 400 films from 1976 to present. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood.
