''PS You Love Me'' is a remix album of songs by Kid 606 based primarily on material from his previous full-length album '' PS I Love You''. Released on June 12, 2001 on compact disc and vinyl record, ''PS You Love Me'' is Kid 606's second full-length album on Mille Plateaux and contains five original tracks along with the remixes and was compiled partially from two previously released EPs. Reception ''Pitchfork Media'' gave the album a 6.8 out of 10 rating, referring to it as "a solid collection, but ultimately suffers a bit because the remixers come from a similar aesthetic background and don't seem to be challenging themselves or the original track." The review compared the album to Microstoria's album '' Reprovisors'' noting that "you can see the opportunity lost." Miguel Trost De Pedro (born July 27, 1979), better known by his stage name Kid606, is an electronic musician who was raised in San Diego and later moved to San Francisco. He is most closely associated with the glitch, IDM, hardcore techno and breakcore scenes. Kid606's music is similar to the work of his friend and colleague Lesser, as well as hardcore and IDM acts such as Atari Teenage Riot, Autechre, Mr. Oizo, and Matmos. He is primarily inspired not by his electronic contemporaries, but by his love of the industrial music, death metal, and industrial metal of the 1980s and 1990s, particularly bands like Godflesh and Napalm Death. His music is known for its high tempo breakbeats and liberal use of noise and sampling, as well as its punk aesthetic, uninhibited genre-mixing, and irreverent sense of humor. Uwe H. Schmidt (born 27 August 1968), also known as Atom™, Atom Heart, or Señor Coconut, is a German composer, musician and producer of electronic music.
