''For the new club claimed as the successor, see PFC Neftochimic Burgas.'' PFC Naftex Burgas ({{Lang-bg, ПФК Нафтекс) is a former football club from Burgas, Bulgaria. History The club was created in 1962 by a group of workers, laying the foundations of the future Petroleum Refinery Neftochim, which had not yet been named. The team startеd in A regional group under the name of Stroitel. The team's first-ever friendly game was against Lokomotiv Burgas. In 1964 the Refinery was finally named Neftochim and the team's name was also changed to Neftochimic. In 1965 the team earned its promotion to 2nd Bulgarian division. In its first game in 2nd division, on September 9, 1965, the team played in front of a crowd of 8000 fans. The team players at the time were workers from the refinery, who had been training daily after hours. 1965 was the year when the construction of the new official stadium of the team commenced. Neftochimic ( bg, Нефтохимик) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Burgas, which currently competes in B RFG Burgas, the fifth tier of the Bulgarian football league system, after being disqualified for financial problems in 2021 from the Second League and reformed in 2022. The team plays its home games at the local Lazur Stadium, which it used to share with PSFC Chernomorets Burgas up until 2015. Georgi Vasilev Ivanov ( bg, Георги Василев Иванов; born 9 August 1946), nicknamed Gocheto and The General, is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a midfielder, and a current football manager. Biography Born in Bobovdol, Vasilev began his football career at Cherveno Zname of Radomir, representing the team between 1961 and 1965, before moving to FC Sliven in 1967 and then to Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa in 1967–68. He also played for Marek Dupnitsa (1968–69) and Etar Veliko Tarnovo (1969–77), featuring in 220 matches and scoring 32 goals in the A PFG. While at Etar, he graduated in history from Veliko Tarnovo University. Finishing the Cologne school for football managers, Vasilev's first team as a manager was Levski Strazhitsa, which he managed in 1977–79.
