PFC Chavdar Etropole
FC Chavdar ( bg, ФК Чавдар) is a Bulgarian football club based in Etropole, Sofia Province. Founded in 1922, they compete in the South-West Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. They play their home games at the Chavdar Stadium, which now boasts a capacity of 5,600. Their home colours are red and white. Chavdar have spent the majority of their playing history between the third and fourth tiers of the Bulgarian football league system. They achieved promotion to the second tier in 2007 following a win against Botev Vratsa in the play-off. The following season, they achieved their highest league finish in club history, ending the season 3rd in the Bulgarian Second Division. In 2009–10 season, as a second league team, Chavdar contested the Bulgarian Cup Semi-final for the only time in their history, losing 1–0 against Beroe. FC Kaliakra Kavarna ( bg, ФК Калиакра Каварна) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Kavarna, which currently competes in the A RFG Dobrich, the fourth tier of Bulgarian football. Founded in 1922 as Kaliakra Sport Club, the club spent most of its history in amateur football before making a rapid ascent to the second-flight of Bulgarian football in 1980. In 2010, the team managed to promote to the A Group for the first time. Their spell in the top flight lasted two seasons, ending in relegation in 2012. Kaliakra Kavarna's name is derived from the Kaliakra cape, which is located nearby the town. Stoycho Zahariev Stoev ( bg, Стойчо Захариев Стоев; born 15 July 1962) is a Bulgarian former footballer and manager. Manager career On 23 July 2013, Bulgaria champions Ludogorets Razgrad replaced coach Ivaylo Petev with Stoycho Stoev, following a 1–0 defeat by Lyubimets on the opening day of the new season. In the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League he managed Ludogorets to win their group and proceed to the round of 32. After a surprising 1-0 loss against Haskovo Stoev was released by the club. On 22 December 2014 Stoycho Stoev took charge of Levski Sofia. On 13 May 2016, after a meeting with the board of directors, it was announced that Stoev had been released by the club. The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups ( bg, Областни Аматьорски Футболни Групи, Oblastin Amat'orski Futbolni Grupi) are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third League. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. Sixteen teams take part in the league, each playing twice against all the other, once home and once away. Most matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays. The league is administered by the Bulgarian Professional Football League. In 2016, the B Group's name was rebranded to Second Professional Football League. Aleksandar Sabev ( bg, Александър Събев; born 9 April 1988) is a Bulgarian footballer currently playing as a defender for Chavdar Etropole. Career Sabev was raised in CSKA Sofia's youth teams. In season 2007/2008 he was loaned in Rilski Sportist Samokov and played in 25 matches with this team in Bulgarian second division.
