Sâncel (german: Schinern; hu, Szancsal) is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. It has a population of 2,790 and is composed of three villages: Iclod (''Küküllőiklód''), Pănade (''Pánád''), and Sâncel. The Târnava Mică ("Small Târnava"; hu, Kis-Küküllő; german: Kleine Kokel) is a river in Romania. Its total length is , and its drainage basin area is . Its source is in the Eastern Carpathian Mountains, in Harghita County.
