Punjab Assembly Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Punjab Legislative Assembly is constituted annually for a one year period from among the members of the Assembly. The committee focuses on the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class of Punjab population. The Punjab Legislative Assembly or the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the state of Punjab in India. The Sixteenth Punjab Legislative Assembly was constituted in March 2022.
