Public School Boards' Association Of Alberta
The Public School Boards' Association of Alberta (PSBAA) is a not-for-profit society, the members of which can be any public school jurisdiction, or First Nations Education Authority, in Alberta, Canada. The membership criteria for the Association requires a school jurisdiction which provides public education to affirm its support to the Objects of the Association. Jurisdictions Twenty-six of forty-two public school jurisdictions in Alberta belong to the Association as of January, 2023. Wetaskiwin Regional Division No. 11 or Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools (WRPS) is the school board serving the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10. WRPS is a public school board system obliged to accept anyone who meets age and location requirements. Size WRPS operates 20 public schools in Wetaskiwin, Millet, Gwynne, Pigeon Lake Buck Lake, Alder Flats and Winfield. The Pembina Hills School Division, (formerly known as Pembina Hills Regional Division No. 7 and Pembina Hills Public Schools) is a school division headquartered in Barrhead, Alberta. The division, with 16 schools having a total of about 3,700 students as of 2021, provides public education to the following central Alberta communities: the towns of Barrhead, Swan Hills, and Westlock, and the Village of Clyde, as well as the counties of Barrhead, Westlock, and Woodlands County.
