Public Opinion (TV Series)
''Public Opinion'' was a television entertainment programme hosted by Gyles Brandreth, and produced by BBC Scotland. The game involved six celebrities being faced with four words; the celebrities were asked what word best described one person in the group. The game was divided into four rounds; at the end of the game each celebrity made a decision as to who best represented all the four words. Gossip and revelations ensued until Brandreth revealed who 2,000 members of the general public thought was best represented by the four words. The show was broadcast by BBC One from 6 September to 10 October 2004 for a total of 6 episodes. Gyles Brandreth
Gyles Daubeney Brandreth (born 8 March 1948) is an English broadcaster, writer and former politician. He has worked as a television presenter, theatre producer, journalist, author and publisher. He was a presenter for TV-am's '' Good Morning Britain'' in the 1980s, and has been regularly featured on Channel 4's game show ''Countdown'' and the BBC's ''The One Show''. On radio, he makes frequent appearances on the BBC Radio 4 programme '' Just a Minute''. In 1992, Brandreth was elected to the House of Commons as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for the City of Chester constituency. BBC One
BBC One is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network owned and operated by the BBC. James Brown Whittaker (born Peter Williams; 20 August 1937 – 14 March 2018), known professionally as Jim Bowen, was an English stand-up comedian, actor and television personality. He was the long-time host of the ITV game show ''Bullseye'', which he presented from its beginning in 1981 through to the end of its original run in 1995. Paul Daniels
Newton Edward Daniels (6 April 1938 – 17 March 2016), known professionally as Paul Daniels, was an English magician and television presenter. He achieved international fame through his television series '' The Paul Daniels Magic Show'', which ran on the BBC from 1979 to 1994.
