The Psycho-Pirate is the name of two supervillains appearin in American comic books published by DC Comics. Bob Frazer portrayed the character for his live action debut during The CW's 2018 Arrowverse crossover "Elseworlds (Arrowverse), Elseworlds". Publication history The Charles Halstead version of Psycho-Pirate first appears in ''All-Star Comics'' #23 and was created by Gardner Fox and Joe Gallagher. The Roger Hayden version of Psycho-Pirate first appears in ''Showcase (comics), Showcase'' #56 and was created by Fox and Murphy Anderson. Arrowverse
The Arrowverse is an American superhero media franchise and a shared universe that is centered on various interconnected television series based on DC Comics superhero characters, primarily airing on The CW as well as web series on CW Seed. The series were developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns, Ali Adler, Phil Klemmer, Salim Akil, Caroline Dries and Todd Helbing. Elseworlds (Arrowverse)
"Elseworlds" is the fifth Arrowverse crossover event that features episodes of the television series ''The Flash'', ''Arrow'', and ''Supergirl'' on The CW. The crossover event began on December 9, 2018, with ''The Flash'', continued on ''Arrow'' on December 10, and concluded on ''Supergirl'' on December 11. "Elseworlds" introduces the characters Batwoman and Lois Lane, and the fictional Gotham City, to the universe. In the crossover, Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl are drawn to Gotham City to confront Dr. John Deegan over his work at Arkham Asylum. The crossover was confirmed in May 2018 at The CW's upfront presentation, where the inclusion of Batwoman and Gotham City were revealed. Secret Society Of Super Villains
Secret Society of Super Villains (SSoSV) is a DC Comics title that debuted in May–June 1976. The series presented a group of DC's supervillains, mostly foes of the Justice League of America. The series was cancelled with issue #15 in July 1978, as part of the DC Implosion, a period when DC suddenly cancelled dozens of comics. In the decades following the cancellation of the original book, the fictional group has returned in many forms. Series conception Editor Gerry Conway created the team to be "a kind of 'evil' Justice League", inspired by the "Rogues Gallery" that fellow editor Julie Schwartz created for the Flash.
