Prva HNL Player Of The Year (Tportal)
The Prva HNL Player of the Year award ( hr, Najbolji igrač Prve HNL) is an annual association football award given by the Croatian web portal Tportal.hr. It is awarded to the best football player who plays in the Prva HNL (or "1. HNL"), Croatian top flight. The winner is chosen by captains of all Prva HNL clubs. The award was established in 2003. Eduardo and Sammir hold the record for most wins with two awards. The current award holder is Dani Olmo of GNK Dinamo Zagreb. Another similar award is the Yellow Shirt Award which is based on aggregate player ratings in matches throughout the season as judged by the country's only sports daily ''Sportske novosti''. Ivan Santini (; born 21 May 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Swiss club Zürich. Club career Ivan Santini, born in Zadar, played for his hometown side's youth team, until the summer of 2006, when he moved to Inter Zaprešić where he signed his first professional contract and made four first team appearances, scoring his first professional goal in the process. The Football Oscar ( hr, Nogometni Oscar) is an annual football award given by the Croatian Association Football Union and Sportske novosti since 2013. In the 2017 edition the award was renamed as Trophy Footballer ( hr, Trofej Nogometaš). It is awarded to the best football player, manager and goalkeeper playing in the Croatian First League. Also, it is awarded to the best overall Croatian player at the end of every season. The best 11 Prva HNL players of the season are also selected. ''Večernji list'' (also known as ''Večernjak''; ) is a Croatian daily newspaper published in Zagreb. History and profile ''Večernji list'' was started in Zagreb in 1959. Croatian Footballer Of The Year
The Croatian Footballer of the Year ( hr, Nogometaš godine) is the most prestigious annual association football award in Croatia. It is awarded by the newspaper ''Večernji list'' to the best Croatian football player in the preceding year, regardless of the league they play in, based on a points system which measures their performances for both club and country. The award is usually presented in a ceremony hosted by the Croatian Football Federation. The award was established in 1972 and, until 1990, the award was given to the best Yugoslav player in the preceding year. Since the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991, the award is given to the best Croatian player. Luka Modrić holds the record for most wins, with ten awards. Davor Šuker is second with six awards. HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split () or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian professional football club based in Split, that competes in the Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 34,198-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by group of Split students who were studying in Prague. Marko Livaja (; born 26 August 1993) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Hajduk Split and the Croatia national team. He has represented his country at every level from the under-15s to the senior team. Arijan Ademi ( mk, Аријан Адеми; born 29 May 1991) is a professional footballer who captains Prva HNL side Dinamo Zagreb and plays for the North Macedonia national team. Ademi started his professional career at Šibenik, debuting for the senior squad on 22 March 2008, aged just 16 years. On 16 June 2010, he was transferred to reigning Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb. Bruno Petković (; born 16 September 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatia national team.
