Lelystad
Lelystad () is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands, and it is the capital of the province of Flevoland. The city, built on reclaimed land, was founded in 1967 and was named after Cornelis Lely, who engineered the Afsluitdijk, making the reclamation possible. Lelystad is approximately below sea level. It is located about 20 km north east of Almere and 40 km west of Zwolle. History Lelystad is built on the seabed of the former Zuiderzee. About 6500 years ago this wetland was above high tide level and inhabited; the Netherlands have steadily subsided since. Dronten () is a municipality and a town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Flevoland. It had a population of in . History Plans for the municipality of Dronten were made in the early half of the 1950s; real plans for the town of Dronten (the municipality's center) were revealed in 1958. The foundations for the town were laid in 1960. Right from the start there was a discussion whether Dronten was to become a town or a city. The first plans assumed 15,000 inhabitants, while later plans foresaw a growth to 30,000 inhabitants. The first plans for the municipality assumed ten smaller villages situated around the central town (in this case, Dronten). The number of villages was reduced because of increased motorized traffic and experiences gained in developing the Noordoostpolder, where a similar municipality had already been built. Kampen () is a city and municipality in the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. A member of the former Hanseatic League, it is located at the lower reaches of the river IJssel. Flevoland
Flevoland () is the twelfth and youngest province of the Netherlands, established in 1986, when the southern and eastern Flevopolders, together with the Noordoostpolder, were merged into one provincial entity. It is in the centre of the country in the former Zuiderzee, which was turned into the freshwater IJsselmeer by the closure of the Afsluitdijk in 1932. Almost all of the land belonging to Flevoland was reclaimed in the 1950s and 1960s while splitting the Markermeer and Bordering lakes from the IJsselmeer. The A6 motorway is a motorway in the Netherlands. It is just over 100 kilometers in length and it connects the A1 motorway at interchange Muiderberg with the A7 motorway at interchange Joure. Overview Just after its start at interchange Muiderberg and the first exit, the A6 motorway crosses the bridge Hollandsebrug. Next, it passes the city of Almere, which has a total of six exits and an interchange ( interchange Almere to the A27 motorway). Further to the northeast, just after Lelystad, the road crosses the Ketelbrug bridge to the Noordoostpolder and connects to highway N50 at the interchange Emmeloord. N50 Road (Netherlands)
N50, partially known as Rijksweg 50 and Rijksweg 838, is a road connecting Rijksweg 6 (A6) in Emmeloord with A50 and A28 / European route E232 (E 232) at the Hattemerbroek interchange in Zwolle. The road is maintained by Rijkswaterstaat. Route description N50 starts at the Hattemerbroek interchange and travels to the north–west. A railroad runs parallel to the road until Kampen. Just before exit 31, the road passes over a bridge. This bridge has been constructed because a river will be flowing under it in the near future. The road runs along Kampen, and just before traveling across river IJssel using the Eilandbrug, there is an incomplete exit, exit 32a, created for trucks to serve the industrial area of Kampen.
