Propeller (Peter Stuart Album)
''Propeller'' is a 2002 studio album from the American singer-songwriter Peter Stuart. The album marked Stuart's solo debut. Stuart had previously formed the rock band Dog's Eye View in 1994. Before their hiatus, Stuart had been Dog's Eye View's lead vocalist and songwriter. The album's lead single was "With My Heart in Your Hands". Background Dog's Eye View founder and vocalist Peter Stuart had left the band to pursue solo projects following their 1997 release, '' Daisy''. Peter Stuart
Peter Stuart is an American singer-songwriter. Stuart is the founder and lead singer of the band Dog's Eye View, which is best known for its single, "Everything Falls Apart". In 2002, he released a solo album entitled ''Propeller''. Biography Early life Stuart is a native of Glen Head, New York, on Long Island, His father died when he was eight years old, and the loss of his father was the topic of his first song. Miles Axe Copeland III (born May 2, 1944) is an American music and entertainment executive and former manager of The Police. Copeland later managed Sting's musical and acting career. Jay Bellerose is an American drummer and percussionist known primarily for his session and live performance work. He has contributed to the work of many well-known artists. Biography Bellerose was born in Maine. A jazz enthusiast, he attended the Berklee College of Music where he worked with Paula Cole, Torsten de Winkel and others, and eventually went Los Angeles where he was part of Joe Henry's band. Charles Thomas Gillingham (born January 26, 1960) is a keyboardist and multi-instrumentalist best known for his performance on the Hammond B-3 organ, accordion, piano, and keyboards for the band Counting Crows. Gregory Brian Leisz ( ; born September 18, 1949) is an American musician. He is a songwriter, recording artist, and producer. He plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, lap steel and pedal steel guitar. Biography Leisz grew up in the garage band culture of mid-1960s Southern California. He spent time at the Ashgrove, the Troubador, and clubs on the Sunset Strip .
