Prize Home Lottery
A prize home lottery is a type of lottery in which a single-unit residential building is awarded as opposed to a lump sum financial prize. Prize home lotteries began to appear across North America, Australia, and Western Europe in the 1950s. While a number of homes built prior to this have historically been associated with lottery winnings, typically they were funded with traditional lottery earnings and not through a formal prize home lottery. David Reed Bromstad (born August 17, 1973) is an American designer and television personality. In 2006, he became the winner of the debut season of ''HGTV Design Star''. He has hosted a number of HGTV shows, including ''Color Splash'', ''Beach Flip'' and ''My Lottery Dream Home''. Early life and education Bromstad was born the youngest of four children to Diane Marlys Bromstad (née Krueger) and Richard Harold David Bromstad in Cokato, Minnesota. The ''Lethbridge Herald'' is the leading daily newspaper in greater Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. It is owned by Alta Newspaper Group and also publishes and distributes a weekly newspaper, the ''Lethbridge Sun Times''. Early history On November 8th 1905, Fred E. Simpson and A.S. Bennett, both from Cranbrook, British Columbia, published the first issue of the ''Lethbridge Weekly Herald''. The paper started in a building on what is now Fifth Street South.
