Priti Gautam Adani (born 1965) with $1 billion net worth is an Indian businessperson, dentist, philanthropist, and chairwoman of Adani Foundation. She is one of the leading women educators in the state of Gujarat. Early life and education In 1965, Priti Adani was born in Mumbai to a Gujarati family. She completed her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad. She is married to Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani, India's richest person. Career During her early days, Priti Adani started her career as a dentist. In the year 1996, she was appointed as chairperson of Adani Foundation. Mundra
Mundra is a census town and a headquarter of Mundra Taluka of Kutch district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Founded in about the 1640s, the town was an important mercantile centre and port throughout its history. Mundra Port is the largest private port in India. History Mundra was established by Bhojarajji I of Cutch State in the 1640s. According to a legend, a Jain merchant named Vardhaman Sheth asked Pir Hazrat Shah Murad Bukhari to pray for the safety of his sinking cargo ship. Miraculously, the ship was saved when the pir used his ''dhoti'' to prevent seawater from entering the ship.
