Priscila Perales
Priscila Perales (born Silvia Priscila Perales Elizondo; February 24, 1983 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico) is a Mexican actress, spokesperson, beauty queen, author and former model. She was crowned Nuestra Belleza México 2005 (Miss Mexico). She was a top ten finalist in the Miss Universe 2006, Miss Universe 2006 pageant. The following year, she became the first Mexican to win the title of Miss International 2007, Miss International in 2007. After competing in beauty pageants, Priscila debuted as an actress in Hispanic soap operas with Univision and Telemundo television networks in Miami, Florida where she currently resides. She retired from modeling in 2014 and married race car driver Adrián Fernández in 2018. ''Nuestra'' is the debut studio album of the Venezuelan rock band La Vida Bohème, released in August 2010. Recorded and produced by Rudy Pagliuca, it is a free download on the website of the record label All of the Above. The album was nominated for "Best Latin Pop, Rock or Urban Album" in the 54th Annual Grammy Awards#Latin, 54th Grammy Awards. The two singles from this album are "Radio Capital" and "Danz!". Background and Recording The album was recorded in Caracas in 2009, on fairly independent terms. Guitarist Daniel De Sousa happened to be studying engineering at the time, and took on designing a distortion pedal that was used on the album. American School Foundation Of Monterrey
The American School Foundation of Monterrey is a private, nonprofit, international school located in Monterrey, Mexico, which provides a U.S.-type education to international and Mexican students. It is one of a few American-style educational centers in this city and is notable for being the oldest one of that group. The school is governed by a founders' board which meets twice a year and that elects a board of directors serving as the school's board of education. This board is constituted of 15 members serving up to four 3-year terms. All instruction is in English except for Spanish classes. For grades 10th to 12th there are two courses of study, one leading to a Mexican bachillerato and the other to a U.S. high school diploma. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar Drama (film and television), drama genres around the world include ''teleserye'' (Philippines), ''téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''Sinetron, sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. XEFB-TDT is a television station located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. It is known as Televisa Monterrey and carries Televisa's local programs for Monterrey, including local news, sports and entertainment programming. History XEFB signed on in 1958 on channel 3. The station was the first local station in Monterrey (joining XHX-TV channel 10, its sister started in 1955) and boasted the first Ampex video tape equipment in Mexico. It converted to color in 1970. The Shrine Auditorium is a landmark large-event venue in Los Angeles, California. It is also the headquarters of the Al Malaikah Temple, a division of the Shriners. It was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument (No. 139) in 1975, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
