Primos (SEPTA Station)
Primos station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in the Primos area of Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania. Located at Oak and Secane Avenues, it serves the Media/Wawa Line. In 2013, this station saw 322 boardings and 398 alightings on an average weekday. It consists of a pre-fabricated office trailer on one platform, and an open brick shelter on the other, and includes a 52-car parking lot. Before becoming an established station, Primos was a flag stop known as Oak Lane. SEPTA Suburban Division Bus Routes
The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority operates or contracts operations of these routes serving points in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, with a few routes operating into the city of Philadelphia. SEPTA Regional Rail
The SEPTA Regional Rail system is a commuter rail network owned by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority and serving the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. The system has 13 branches and more than 150 active stations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, its suburbs and satellite towns and cities. It is the fifth-busiest commuter railroad in the United States, and the busiest outside of the New York and Chicago metropolitan areas. Media/Wawa Line
The Media/Wawa Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail service that runs from Center City Philadelphia west to Wawa in Delaware County. It uses the West Chester Branch, which connects with the SEPTA Main Line at 30th Street Station. Under the Pennsylvania Railroad, service continued to West Chester, Pennsylvania. On September 19, 1986, however, service was truncated to Elwyn. On August 21, 2022, service was restored to Wawa Station, three miles west of the Elwyn station. , most inbound Media/Wawa Line trains continue onto the Manayunk/Norristown and Fox Chase lines. Wawa Station
Wawa station is a commuter rail station on the SEPTA Regional Rail Media/Wawa Line, located adjacent to U.S. Route 1 in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The original station was built by the West Chester and Philadelphia Railroad and later served the Pennsylvania Railroad's West Chester Branch, which finally became SEPTA's R3 line (later renamed to the "Media/Elwyn Line"). The outer section of the line, running from Elwyn to West Chester including the old Wawa station, was closed in 1986. Secane Station
Secane station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Secane, Pennsylvania. It serves the Media/Wawa Line and previously served the Pennsylvania Railroad. It is located at Providence Road and South Avenue, and parking is available via permit. The station consists of two platforms with shelters on the east side of Providence Road across from the end of South Street. A serpentinite stone building originally built in 1880 by the Pennsylvania Railroad serves as the station and ticket office, with an insurance office occupying the level at the parking lot. The station opened as Spring Hill, retaining that name until 1886. The previous name can still be found on the cornerstone of the building. Temple University Station
Temple University station is an above-ground SEPTA Regional Rail station located at the eastern edge of the Temple University campus at 915 West Berks Street between 9th and 10th Streets, in the Cecil B. Moore section of Lower North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station is in the Center City fare zone, although the station itself is located in North Philadelphia. There is a small ticket kiosk located at the base of the stairs on the street level. Temple University maintains a security kiosk at street level. Stairways and two elevators lead up to the high-level platforms at track level. There are two island platforms serving four tracks. Each platform is 380 feet (115.824 meters) long, long enough to platform four cars with only the end doors being used.
