Premio De La Crítica Española
The "Premios de la Crítica" are literary prizes awarded on a yearly basis by the Asociación Española de Críticos Literarios to the best narrative and poetic works published in Spain on the preceding year. The prizes cover all four official languages of Spain: Spanish or Castilian, Catalan, Galician, Euskera. There is no monetary award associated with the prizes. The awarding jury is composed of 22 members of the Associación de Criticos Literarios. The award for narrative literature in Castilian has been won by writers including Miguel Delibes, Ana María Matute and Javier Marías. Catalan Language

Miguel Delibes
Miguel Delibes Setién Medal of Merit in Labour, MML (; 17 October 1920 – 12 March 2010) was a Spanish novelist, journalist and newspaper editor associated with the Generation of '36 movement. From 1975 until his death, he was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy, where he occupied List of members of the Real Academia Española#e seat 2, letter "e" seat. Educated in commerce, he began his career as a cartoonist and columnist. Ana María Matute
Ana María Matute Ausejo (26 July 1925 – 25 June 2014) was an internationally acclaimed Spanish writer and member of the Real Academia Española. In 1959, she received the Premio Nadal for ''Primera memoria''. Javier Marías
Javier Marías Franco (20 September 1951 – 11 September 2022) was a Spanish author, translator, and columnist. Marías published fifteen novels, including '' A Heart So White'' (''Corazón tan blanco,'' 1992'')'' and '' Tomorrow in the Battle Think on Me'' (''Mañana en la batalla piensa en mí,'' 1994). In addition to his novels, he also published three collections of short stories and various essays. As one of Spain's most celebrated novelists, his books have been translated into forty-six languages and were sold close to nine million times internationally. He received several awards for his work, such as the Rómulo Gallegos Prize (1995), the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award (1997), the International Nonino Prize (2011), and the Austrian State Prize for European Literature (2011). Cristina Fernández Cubas
Cristina Fernández Cubas (Arenys de Mar, Barcelona province, 1945) is a Spanish writer and journalist. She has been described as "one of the most important writers who have begun to publish since the end of the Franco dictatorship" and has been credited with inaugurating "a renaissance in the short story genre in Spain." Biography and literary career Fernández Cubas studied Law and Journalism at the University of Barcelona, where she met the writer Carlos Trías Sagnier, whom she later married.. They have travelled extensively, and lived in many different cities, including Cairo, Lima, Buenos Aires, Paris and Berlin. Fernández Cubas practised journalism from an early age and published her first collection of short stories, ''Mi hermana Elba'', in 1980.
