Praise The Lard
''Praise the Lard'' is an album by PIG (Raymond Watts), initially released on Concrete Productions in 1991 and re-released by Cleopatra Records in 1997. The re-released version has an incorrect track listing, due to the use of artwork from the original LP version. Cleopatra Records reissued the album after "purchasing" the rights from someone who did not legally own them. Raymond has indicated his desire to re-release the album, possibly with bonus tracks, but the album is currently unavailable in all markets (as of 2017). Raymond Watts
Raymond Watts (also known by his former stage names Nainz, Nainz Watts and Ray Scaballero) is an English musician, the founding and sole member of the industrial music project PIG, sometimes written as <PIG>. Watts was an early member and periodic collaborator of KMFDM, and has been a visible part of the industrial music scene since the early 1980s. He has toured with KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Schaft, Schwein, and Einstürzende Neubauten. Industrial music is a form of experimental music which emerged in the 1970s. In the 1980s, industrial splintered into a range of offshoots, sometimes collectively named post-industrial music. JG Thirlwell
James George Thirlwell (born 29 January 1960), also known as Clint Ruin, Frank Want, and Foetus, among other names, is an Australian musician, composer, and record producer. He is known for juxtaposing a variety of different musical styles. Life and career Thirlwell was born in Melbourne, Australia. He briefly studied Fine Art at Melbourne State College (now part of the University of Melbourne) before moving to London, England in 1978, where he played with the post-punk band prag VEC and formed the first of his numerous musical projects, Foetus. Anna Wildsmith
Sow was the musical project of Anna Wildsmith, formed in 1989 and based in France. Raymond Watts, for a time Wildsmith's boyfriend, is also heavily involved in the production of Sow releases. Wildsmith has likewise appeared on numerous Pig albums, writing lyrics or performing vocals, such as the song "Cry Baby" from Genuine American Monster. Sow opened for Pigface on their ''Red Neck, White Trash And Blue Movie Tour'' in 1998, with Anna Wildsmith also taking the stage for part of the Pigface set. Sow released three albums before Wildsmith’s death from an undisclosed illness on 30 September 2016.
