''Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday'' is a 1995 side-scrolling platform video game developed by Phoenix Interactive Entertainment and published by Sunsoft for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game console. The goal of the game is to guide the main character, Porky Pig from the Warner Bros. cartoons, through his nightmares. The game received mixed to positive reviews by critics; its graphics and animations were received well while its length and easy difficulty were not. Gameplay ''Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday'' is a side-scrolling platform game. The main character, Porky Pig, can move left and right, jump, swing on chains, climb, enter doorways and ride bubbles underwater. Standing on some platforms causes a vampire-costumed Daffy Duck to appear, scaring Porky and propelling him up into the air to reach high places. ''The Wearing of the Grin'' is a 1951 Warner Bros. '' Looney Tunes'' cartoon directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese. The short was released on July 14, 1951, and stars Porky Pig. Plot On a raining stormy night while traveling through rural Ireland on his way to Dublin, Porky Pig is caught in a storm and asks for lodgings at a nearby castle for the night, but the caretaker, Seamus O'Toole, tells him that no one inhabits the place but himself and the leprechauns. Porky dismisses the remark, tells the caretaker to "cut out this nonsense and take my bags to a room", and slams the front door, causing a mace above to fall.
