''Porky's'' is a 1981 sex comedy film written and directed by Bob Clark about the escapades of teenagers in 1954 at the fictional Angel Beach High School in Florida. The film influenced many writers in the teen film genre and spawned two sequels: '' Porky's II: The Next Day'' (1983) and ''Porky's Revenge!'' (1985), and an ashcan copy titled ''Porky's Pimpin' Pee Wee'' (2009). ''Porky's'' was the fifth highest-grossing film of 1982. The film received generally positive reviews at the time of its release, but reviews have become more mixed-to-negative over time. Plot In 1954, each boy in a group of Florida high school students plans to lose his virginity. They go to Porky's, a strip club in the Everglades, believing that they can hire a prostitute to satisfy their sexual desires. The club's proprietor, Porky, takes their money but humiliates the boys by dumping them into the swamp. Bob Clark
Benjamin Robert Clark (August 5, 1939 – April 4, 2007) was an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. He is best known for his work in the Canadian film industry throughout the 1970s and 1980s, where he was responsible for some of the most successful films in Canadian film history such as ''Black Christmas (1974 film), Black Christmas'' (1974), ''Murder by Decree'' (1979), ''Tribute (1980 film), Tribute'' (1980), ''Porky's'' (1981), and ''A Christmas Story'' (1983). Wyatt Knight (January 20, 1955 – October 25, 2011) was an American actor, best known for his role as Tommy Turner in the ''Porky's'' trilogy. Career In addition to his work in the ''Porky's'' films, Knight made guest appearances on numerous TV shows including ''The Waltons'', ''M*A*S*H (TV series), M*A*S*H'', ''Family Ties'', ''Profiler (TV series), Profiler'', ''Chicago Hope'' and ''Star Trek: The Next Generation''. Mark Herrier (born October 6, 1954) is an United States, American actor and film director, best known for his role as Billy in the 1980s teen film, teen trilogy ''Porky's''. He graduated from Lompoc High School in 1972. He has also appeared on ''M*A*S*H (TV series), M*A*S*H'', ''Freddy's Nightmares'', ''Paradise (American TV series), Paradise'', ''Murder, She Wrote'', ''The Practice'', and ''Gideon's Crossing''.
