Popo (footballer, Born 1988)
Adolfo Moyano Burgos (born 21 January 1988), known as Popo, is a Spanish footballer who plays mainly as an attacking midfielder. Club career Popo was born in Torre del Mar, Province of Málaga. After playing for all of Málaga CF's youth sides and making his debut as a senior with the reserve team, he first appeared with the main squad on 6 January 2007 in a Segunda División match against neighbours UD Almería: after having taken the pitch in the 67th minute, he scored the 2–1 winner for the hosts three minutes from the end; he made a further seven appearances during the season, as the Andalusians finally did not regain their La Liga status. From 2007 to 2009, Popo served two Segunda División B loan spells, the second one to Antequera CF also in his native region, upon which he returned to Málaga and was told he was not in new coach Juan Ramón López Muñiz's plans, being released from his contract on 28 August. Torre Del Mar
Torre del Mar is a locality on the southern coast of Spain, part of the municipality of Vélez-Málaga, Axarquía, located in the province of Málaga. It is a popular summer tourist resort for Spanish people. Juan Ramón López Muñiz
Juan Ramón López Muñiz (born 2 November 1968) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central defender, currently a manager. Playing career Muñiz was born in Gijón, Asturias. During his playing days, he represented hometown club Sporting de Gijón (making his first-team debut in the 1991–92 season, at already 23), Rayo Vallecano – scoring four goals from 40 appearances during 1998–99, which granted the Madrid side La Liga promotion via the playoffs even though they finished fifth – and CD Numancia. Muñiz retired at the end of the 2001–02 campaign at the age of 33, as the team from Soria could only finish in 17th position in Segunda División. In 11 years as a professional, he appeared in 332 games and scored ten times (234 matches and six goals in the top flight). Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams.
