Poland National Under-21 Speedway Team
The Poland national under-21 speedway team is the national under-21 motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union ( PZM). The Under-21 Speedway World Cup has been dominated by Poland with them winning first place in all of the past championships. Karol Ząbik was a member of Poland team by three finals (2005-2007). Poland has produced seven Under-21 Individual World Champions: Piotr Protasiewicz (1996), Robert Dados (1998), Dawid Kujawa (2001), Jarosław Hampel (2003), Robert Miśkowiak (2004), Krzysztof Kasprzak (2005) and Karol Ząbik (2006). Polski Związek Motorowy
The Polski Związek Motorowy (PZM, PZMot) ( en, Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation) is an automobile club and the governing body of motorsports in Poland. It is based in Warsaw. Established in 1950 by merging the Polish Car Club and the Polish Motorcycle Association. According to its charter, the PZM deals with propagation of knowledge and motor cultures, it leads operations in favor of safety in road traffic, and it promotes motor tourism and camping, as well as supporting the antique vehicle hobby. It organizes driving schools, it provides assistance for motorists in cases of break-downs, it inspects repair garages and service stations, it is involved in sales of new and used cars, it acts as an agent for vehicle insurance policies, as well as issuing some travel documents, providing information for tourists, booking of hotels and ferry tickets. Mateusz Szczepaniak (born 10 February 1987 in Poland) is an international motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He won the Team Under 21 World Championship with the Poland speedway team. Career In 2022, he helped Wilki Krosno win the 2022 1.Liga. The following season he signed for GKM Grudziądz for the 2023 Polish speedway season. 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship is the third FIM Team Speedway Junior World Championship season. The Final took place on 23 September 2007 in Abensberg, Germany. The World Championship was won by Poland U-21. It was third title for Poland. Poland team is only team who was won this competition (first staged in 2005). It was also a third title for Poland' captain Karol Ząbik and second title for Paweł Hlib and Krzysztof Buczkowski. In the final, Poland (40 points) beat Great Britain (36 pts), Czech Republic (30 pts) and Germany (13 pts). It was first medals for the British and Czech teams. The title was won after 19th heat, when Buczkowski beat Britain's Lewis Bridger. Czech Republic lost the chance for the silver medal after the 19th when their captain Luboš Tomíček, Jr. was last. Adrian Miedziński (born 20 August 1985 in Toruń, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. Career He has won the Team Under-21 World Champion and Individual Under-21 Polish Champion titles. In 2022, while riding for Bydgoszcz he suffered a serious crash which resulted in him being put into an induced coma due to brain and spinal injuries. Paweł Hlib (born 20 February 1986 in Poland) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. Career Hlib won the Team Speedway Junior World Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and became the Individual Polish Under-21 Champion in 2007. In December 2008, he joined the Poland national team. Hlib stated that he would like to join the German team because he has German citizenship as well. He returned to ride in Poland during 2019, for Wilki Krosno. It was his final season in Poland.
