"Point of View" is a song by Italian electronic music group DB Boulevard, written by Alfredo Comazzetto and vocalist Moony under her real name, Monica Bragato. The song is based around a sample of "Heatwave" by French band Phoenix, so Deck D'Arcy, Laurent Brancowitz, Thomas Mars Jr., and Christian Mazzalai are also credited as writers. "Point of View" became a chart hit in Europe and Australia and topped the US ''Billboard'' Dance Club Songs chart. The music video of the song features a computer-animated cardboard woman. DB Boulevard was an Italian electronic music group, consisting of members, vocalist Moony (Monica Bragato), along with producers Alfred Azzetto, Diego Broggio and Mauro Ferrucci. In 2002, their song "Point of View" peaked at number 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart in the US and at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits. Rhythmic contemporary never uses hard rock or country in its airplay, but it may occasionally use a reggae, Latin, reggaeton, or a urban contemporary gospel hit. Adult contemporary music (AC) is a form of radio-played popular music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad-heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, R&B, quiet storm and rock influence. Adult contemporary is generally a continuation of the easy listening and soft rock style that became popular in the 1960s and 1970s with some adjustments that reflect the evolution of pop/rock music. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI).
