''Playing with Fire'' is an American reality documentary television series on E! and premiered on March 17, 2013. Premise The series chronicles the personal and professional lives of five chefs, stars and taste-makers who have risen to the top of New York's culinary world. Todd English
William Todd English (born August 29, 1960) is an American celebrity chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality, based in Boston, Massachusetts. He hosted the TV cooking show, ''Food Trip with Todd English,'' on PBS. In 2005 he was a judge on the PBS show '' Cooking Under Fire''. His life and career received a chapter in '' Super Chef'' by Juliette Rossant, who had written previously about English for the ''Forbes'' Celebrity 100 list. ''Iron Chef America'' is an American cooking show based on Fuji Television's ''Iron Chef'', and is the second American adaptation of the series, following the failed ''Iron Chef USA'' that aired in 2001. Candice Kumai is an American author and chef. Kumai is based in New York City. Biography Kumai was born in California to a Japanese mother and Polish-American father. She has one sister. She worked as a model when she was a teenager. Later, she trained as a professional chef in Southern California, cooking on the line at several restaurants. In 2006, Kumai was the youngest chef competing on the first season of ''Top Chef''. She was the fourth chef to have been eliminated from the competition.
