Pistha (1997 Film)
''Pistha'' () is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by K.S. Ravikumar and starring Karthik, Nagma, Manivannan and T. S. B. K. Moulee. The movie completed a 180-day run in theaters and turned out to be a blockbuster. It was a profitable venture for Pyramid Natarjan. Plot Manigandan is a server in a hotel who is a devotee of Lord Ayyappan (the bachelor god). He follows a fasting for Ayyappan and is very sincere and honest. One day a businessman, named Dharmaraj, visits the hotel where Manigandan works. He admires Manigandan's sincerity and offers him the General Manager job in his factory at Ooty. Dharmaraj takes Manigandan to his factory and office to introduce him to his employees who do not do any work but play games, sit idle, watch TV etc. Innocent Mani does not understand why employees do not work but gets scared that he must manage all of them, a task which was impossible for 419 managers before him. Pyramid Natarajan
Pyramid Natarajan is a former Indian actor and producer, who has appeared in character roles in Tamil cinema. He made his breakthrough as an actor playing a role in Mani Ratnam's ''Alaipayuthey'' (2000) portraying the role of Madhavan's father, before playing the antagonist in several films. Career Natarajan was born in a village called Valoothoor near, Papanasam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu and studied in Shaukathul Islam Balya Muslim Sangam Higher Elementary School in his boyhood and moved to Madras as a teenager, hoping to make a breakthrough into films. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. Harini (born 30 April 1979) is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer who sings in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films, working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu. Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four. In her later years, she learned from Sudha Raghunathan and currently from Suguna Purushotthaman. She used to participate in school competitions and in one such competition which she won, A. R. Rahman who distributed the prizes invited the winners to his studio to record their voices. ''Surya Vamsam'' ( and ) is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Vikraman. The film stars R. Sarathkumar in dual lead roles with Devayani. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by S. A. Rajkumar. It was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 1997.
