Philip Ambrose "Pip" Elson (born 14 April 1954) is an English professional golfer. He is the son of the cricketer Gus Elson and the father of Jamie Elson. Elson was born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. He won the British Youths Open Amateur Championship in 1971 before turning professional in 1973. In his breakthrough year he also won the BMGA Pro tour of the Club Championships of Wroxham Barns for the first time. He was that year's European Tour Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year. Philip Malcolm "Pip" Williams (born 7 October 1947) is a record producer, arranger and guitarist, best known for producing albums for Status Quo and The Moody Blues and acting as well as supervising the orchestra parts and orchestra arrangements for the Finnish metal band Nightwish. Major-General George Philip Bradley Roberts, (5 November 1906 – 5 November 1997), better known as "Pip", was a senior officer of the British Army who served with distinction during the Second World War, most notably as General Officer Commanding of the 11th Armoured Division (nicknamed the "Black Bull") throughout the campaign in Northwestern Europe from June 1944 until Victory in Europe Day (VE-Day) in May 1945.
